Hail Damage Bonus Cash

I noticed the following VIN specific bonus cash on a dealer's website listing for an F-150. This confirms that some vehicles were damaged by the large hail storm in KC back in March. I assume the amount differs based on the amount of damage.

Wondering if you’ve received your truck yet and if they disclosed any hail damage. Ordered mine Dec 03 and it showed built in Kansas City on Mar 12. Still don’t have it. Dealer said it spent a good amount of time in a quality assurance hold after it was built, which was right after the hail storm on Mar 13.

I got notice from my dealer last week that mine was damaged. From my understanding, it has not arrived at the dealer yet. I cancelled the order due to the hail damage and the other uncertainties around the time the truck was sitting waiting for whatever repairs Ford had to make.

I got a call from Shelby (Granger finance) today and will pick it up tomorrow. There is a $1500 Hail Damage rebate on mine. Also getting 1.9% for 36 months. I'll try to remember to post any hail damage they might have missed.

And "Quality Assurance" is just a Ford internal code for fixing hail damage....
