H8 battery in a 23 XL F150 Work truck

Just wanted to share some pictures as I had to change out my battery after 60k and went with the H8 from the stock H6.
It fit like a glove with no modifications at all.

60k is better than most. Mine only lasted ~15k. Good call on the larger non-OE battery. Also, you can get a larger battery blanket that will fit the new H8 battery if you choose.

Yes I have one ordered KL3Z10A687C but taking forever. I'm not sure what they do but must be needed as the manufacture would definitely not include it.

I swapped out the H6 (after the usual problems) with an H8 Walmart. All is good now. I cut the H6 blanket and opened it to wrap (most) of the H8. 2021 5.0 XLT

I put in an H8 last month. It is like the scene in the movie Independence Day where the captured alien machines at Area 51 start coming back to life. I can leave on approach lighting on and folding mirrors and the auto start/stop is working again after many months of not working. I had all the features turned off to preserve battery power. In the end the H8 battery was the way to go.
