I found instructions on how to install my TPMS and Trailer camera though the link Ford gives you get with the system doesn't have them on the website.

Anyway I am trying to sort out whether I need a Trailer Yaw Rate Sensor Kit that is talked about in the instructions. (attached quote)

I'm thinking I don't need this because I already have the stickers. From looking around this board, it appears this was used for the Sync 3 system. Can someone confirm that?

I attached the instructions to the TPMS and Trailer camera system I found (For 2022+) below too. If it turns out to be wrong for my 2024 Lariat, I will let you know.

You don't need the yaw sensor unless you're not happy with the stickers and want backup assist. If you want to add the sensor and remove or cover the stickers it should (no guarantee on a 2024, but it works on a 2022  ) function with your truck (I wouldn't try running both at the same time, that might confuse something!).

It's not required for the cam / TPMS to function, if your kit has the harness branch for the yaw sensor it can just be tucked-away somewhere.

Thanks...Good to confirm.

I saw they Yaw setup sells for about $130 online and $100 on Ebay.

The stickers aren't perfect, but I am happy with them for now. Might be an idea for a project later on, but there are more important things before that.

Please note my '2024 caveat' added after you quoted me - with Ford these days there's just never any telling what they might have changed, lol.

I see. I would definitely triple-check.

Does your new kit wiring harness have the plug for the YAW sensor ? It is referred to as “D1” in the instructions.
