Gen13 wheels on Gen14

Has anyone put Gen13 wheels on a Gen14? I had a Star White 2017 King Ranch that I loved the wheels on. I just purchased a 2023 Star White Platinum and I hate those wheels. Do you think these 2017 Wheels would look good on the 2023 Platinum? If anyone has any pics, I'd love to see them.

The problem with the Platinum/BAP wheels is they are too wide at base.

I'm looking at Gen 13 matte black Ford Performance wheels for that reason.
Gen 15 has better looking wheels.

I see those wheels like your old KR on Facebook market all the time. Not what I'm looking for as I'm looking for black, but they look much better.

Yah, I don’t know what it is but I just really hate these new Platinum wheels.
I want to either change to maybe those chrome wheels from my 2017 or the 22” wheels from the Limited. I love the way the limited looks, I’m just worried about how much it will affect ride quality. I’ve never had 22” wheels.

I believe from '04 to current, all wheels are interchangeable. I have a set of 2007 23" Saleens I've put on my '22 F150 and '22 Expedition without issue.

Will the ride suffer some with a 22" vs 20"? Sure. With a quality tire in the 22" I don't believe it to be a deal breaker.

I have 20 limited 22’s on my 21 XLT. Stock 18’s before and after.

@Stealth88 that made a HUGE difference in your truck! They look awesome. How is the ride quality now with the 22's?

I really like those wheels, how do you like those versions vs the 2021 version limited wheels?

Thanks! They ride rougher for sure but since I’ve had a lowered F150 on 22’s before I knew what I was getting into. So for me the change in ride quality was not a deal breaker but the better handling is a plus, not as much brake dive also. As for the decision on these vs newer limited wheels, I like the look of these better is all.

Here’s my 05 XLT I did a bit of work to. It was rolling on 08 Harley Davidson edition 22’s with 305/40-22 tires and had a ground force 2/4 drop.

Looking at set of those exact rims on FB market $250 for all 4.
Keep an eye online you'll see people just legit giving away OEM rims.
