Gen mode, what did I do wrong?

22 Limited 7.2 Kw Powerboost
Started the truck, turned the generator mode, plugged in a battery charger to charge 2'nd car and truck shut off after 30 min. 1'st use of the Gen power.
Any ideas?

Are you sure its off and not running off the batt?

Whole truck was off, and no power to the charger (AC outlets)

It's possible the 30 minutes idle limit kicked in and turned the truck off.
You would have been prompted to override that if you were looking at the instrument cluster. (I get it often when I'm using the truck as an office)

Putting the truck in generator mode should override the 30 minute prompt, of course. Were you inadvertently charging in the default mode, rather than full generator mode?

I have a 302A, so your limited might be different, but I have a Generator on/off button above the big display next to the camera button.

I don't have a generator, but while chatting with a friend outside of the truck while I left it running, the truck shut off. He thought I may have run out of gas, but I'm like no, it just does stuff like that lol. He was impressed.
