Curious if anyone else ordered a ‘22 with full tow and not get the extended mirrors?

My truck came in and dealer sent me pic and it looks like the “regular” mirrors. Nervous when i get there to pick up they say the tow package was left out.

I have an XLT powerboost with sport appearance.

Pretty sure tow mirrors are a separate option you need to select.

Maybe but it shows in the ford tracker with it, but who knows.

Very clear in the Order Guide that tow mirrors are a separate option. You need the tow package in order to add them to your build, but they do not come with the tow package.

Yes, you are correct and I actually prefer the non-tow mirrors as towing won't be that often. Just had been looking at the same image on the tracker site and the photos the dealer gave me for 3-4 months since I ordered, so I had gotten used to that look.

It also looks different in the fender area with a larger gap between tire and fender. Hope those are the 20' and not 18'. WS states 20' though.

Either way, excited to pick it up Monday!

That picture looks like the 20" sport wheels. They don't sell that style in 18", I believe.

Ok good. Again just used to seeing the pics one way and then seeing actual makes me pause.

I have the max tow package and as others have stated, tow mirrors are separate order items.

Ok thanks. Weird that it showed it by default in the pics if not specifically selected.

Never ever ever trust the pictures. :)

My build was WITH tow mirrors yet half the rendered pictures were with them, and half without.

They aren't very sightly to look at. In fact very distracting from the KingRanch White with body color handles and bumpers. The mirrors are giant black plastic elephant ears with chrome helmets. Lol

But from the driver's seat? Absolutely wonderful.

Regardless, I've towed thousands of miles with the regular mirrors. I did fine.

I have max tow and regular mirrors. I plan to use add on mirrors for future towing.

Good to know. I’m not disappointed about the mirrors just was nervous that maybe it didn’t have the tow package.

When you say "full tow", do you mean Max Tow?

Max Tow is easy enough to verify if you know what you are looking for.
One of the quickest ways on that XLT is the rear leafpak. Should have 3 leaf stack instead of two.

Should look like:

Yes max tow.

When I see it in person I’ll take a look.

I have the max tow package without the tow mirror option. But now that the bed camera is active at any speed, I wonder if tow mirrors are really needed. Here is my view without tow mirrors.
