FSA Recall -- L2 Cluster (20-258) notice showing in 2021 F-150 FordPass app

This just appeared on my FordPass app.

UPDATE: I called the Service Dept at my dealership and was told they just need to do an "update" and it shouldn't take more than 30 mins. I'll try to learn more details when I take it in Thursday morning. I'm mostly curious why this can't be done using the OTA system.

I'm guessing (hoping) it's probably something minor, since my truck has performed flawlessly so far, and I've put it through it's paces by testing everything. Including the opportunity to drive it in freezing snowy conditions today.

Yeah that's a good point! I wonder what kind of updates are for the OTA. Are they just the updates for Sync?

I got the same recall on F150 XLT 302A.

My dealer did an update on mine while they were doing the lift kit. They said it was a module.

Are you (or anyone else for that matter) experiencing any issues with your cluster? Mine seems perfectly fine. It would be nice to know why they are putting the update out there.

The only issue Im having with my cluster is the speed limit not being accurate. Im guessing the navigation needs to be updated as well.

I really haven't noticed anything at all wrong with my truck, so I'm hoping the dealership can enlighten me exactly what they are going to update and why.
