It is a mystery of what is actually missing from the assembly line that resulted in gimping the feature.
On the surface, it does not appear to be a hardware shortcoming, but software wouldn't be a constraint, would it? Ford doesn't run out of software. Lol

I get the same silly parking info. If you had APA activated it would have been shown once you hit that button. If you have forscan i would try activating it for sure.

I definitely will give it a try. But if editing AsBuilt reverses the delete, I will never understand why it was a constraint on this truck. :)

Probably just a communication issue somewhere between the assembly and software build. Who knows.

Maybe it’s a different module then the module with parking. It might be missing a processor. I have a feb build that has parking, could check to see what is in place with the modules.

The IPMA does the processing for the APA sensors.

I have looked up a lot of folks trucks in FDRS, but I don't think I have yours. If you pm me your VIN, I could do a hardware assembly p/n & software p/n comparison.

I would assume that our builds should have been near identical if I hadn't gotten the Park Assist delete? :)

If nothing else, I could provide Jesse with a data point or 2 for his ongoing collection of knowledge. I certainly owe him whatever I can provide.

See. Even that is something I wouldn't have known.

So assuming I have all the sensors, my IPMA is currently

Anyone with a 2022 and Park Assist see a discrepancy?

I checked part numbers and they are the same on trucks with and without. They would for sure change the part number if something was different.

That was my thought, different module number.

If it is the IPMA module that holds the difference between our 2 2022 KingRanch Park Assist features, here are the 2 trucks:

(2-24 build does have Park Assist enabled. 4-11 build does not)

Thanks @tbinmd for your truck info.

@Mash150 here is your 2021 truck. Do you have Active Park Assist?

Those changes don’t mean much. They are always changing as time goes by. I have GAP version in mine and have working active park assist

Thank you Jesse.
So if you had my truck at your disposal and you were just going to probe...... Or attempt to do process-of-elimination in order to discover what is the missing element on this truck, what would be your first approach?

Would it be AsBuilt comparison between IPMA's?
