Found all the F150s

I got lured into a dealership today from the below picture and found where all the F150s went! Small ADM of 10K plus their 15-20K lift kit and appearance package.

That's not a lot of F150's, by yesteryears standards. Thus the ridiculous markup.

I have been buying from the same dealership for 24 years. Was used to selecting from 3-400 trucks.

Seeing 10 F150's side by side looks paltry in their huge empty lot.

Most of the big dealers around Denver seem to be stocking up on trucks that people don't want, but are forced to buy if they have been pushed back relentlessly during the build process. Several dealers in SLC area are also putting the LDS package on stock XLT's and raising the prices.

Who would pay that much? Talk about getting screwed on resale or trade in.

Alright I worked at this dealership 10 years ago. Here’s what they’re doing. Inventory sucks, so dealer locate services will reach out to big dealers looking for inventory. They tell them they have xx vehicle for y over invoice plus shipping. If you see the window sticker it shows a California dealership ship to. When I worked there we routinely paid MSRP for Raptors/GT500’s/etc from small dealerships all over the US.

They install a lift to make up for the cost of getting the truck shipped from California plus the unknown cost to buy it. Oh and their dealer pack is atrocious. This place steals more money from sales than customers.
