Discovered another bug on a 2400 mile trip.... FDRS'ed up to current levels. Have full screen Carplay Unreal render etc.
Switching drivers without turning off the engine .. just pushing the number button on the driver door.... caused XM radio presets to be lost. Technically not lost.. overwritten. My wife has VERY different XM presets than mine! It seems that with the radio playing and during a profile switch the XM presets are not loaded from the new profile. So when I shut down a few hours later her XM presets were saved to my profile wiping out my presets.
Oddly enough most of the profile selections did update when I pressed driver 1. Wife likes Display mode in Auto.. I like Night mode. Pushing the button toggled the display as expected. Door locking settings switched. Easy exit switched. Didn't notice the radio presets not making it as the wife was managing music..
But overall very bad behavior. When I want my profile updated... I will press and hold the door button I want updated to the current settings. If I let a friend share driving tasks and they change something (lumbar, seat position, etc.) I don't want the new settings overriding my profile settings.
I am not sure if this is a new bug as it is rare for us to have a driver switch without a shutdown in between. Anyone else seen this? Anyone have a workaround beside a power off-on cycle?
Until there is a fix... be sure to shutdown between driver changes!
