I don't know, I think Tonesto is doing everything he can and someone from Ford may be monitoring this thread. It just seems odd... as soon as he figures out a way around the Ford code, it's changed and breaks the app.

So is the widget officially dead now? I keep getting errors on it.
seems that way :( I can't contribute so I just take my seat and maybe something will happen. Cool while it lasted, only got to use it for like a week until it broke lol

I’m having trouble with my Ford account, my FordPass points are not being applied to my account even though I purchased my truck over 30 days ago.

While researching this it was recommended to login to the Ford website however I’m receiving an error when I try, CSIAH0320E. I searched and this is an IBM authentication system error. I tried to reset my password but still could not login via the webpage. A thread in another forum pointed to Ford locking people’s accounts due to using APIs. Since this widget uses APIs it’s possible it’s causing my account lockout however I’m not sure but this is the only API I’ve tried to use with my account. According to many in the thread below, it can takes up to 6 weeks to get your account unlocked. While your account is locked, the Fordpass app continues to work just fine so you don’t even know your account is locked. Fordpass support does not even have the ability to fix this.

This is the thread I found some of this information at:
https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/unauthorized-api-use-can-disable-your-account.13893/page-10

Ford is working hard to not allow use of the API even though they are telling developers to use it.

Today I noticed there was an update for Fordpass in Homebridge and it seems to be back to working as I would expect it to. I wonder if that means that there is a chance there is some hope of getting this widget working again?

The widget technically could work right now... I didn't update the token acquisition stuff with all the issues with accounts. The issue was that Ford Security was actively targeting those users and locking out their accounts without any warning and it took a long time to get it unlocked.
