FordPass 3.35.0 update adds towing features

Latest FordPass update has added support for Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch (on equipped vehicles) and a towing/payload calculator.

This looks great. Unfortunately my Fordpass never worked properly at a basic level, despite several conversations and cases with Ford, and through many app updates. I wish they'd make the app work well as a first priority.

Looks like the same calculator they briefly posted online. Unfortunately this one appears to be only for trucks with the onboard scale. My FordPass does not include it after update.

I have the new calculator and don't have onboard scales. Look under Vehicle->Features & Settings, then scroll down a bit to see: Can I Tow This?

This is pretty cool. My truck was built and shipped, but not delivered yet. Should be later this week or next week hopefully per tracking in the 11/1 build thread. According to the app, my payload is 1523 lb, which I've been wondering about since I configured and ordered back in July.

Will this new update allow me to start my Pro Power generator and turn on WiFi from inside my Travel Trailer?

While this is a cool addition, my single favorite feature of Ford Pass and the one all my friends are most jealous of is the ability to check all the lights from the app - without having to run back and forth between the cab and the back of the trailer!
