Well, I like that is says they are expecting to release something for it this quarter.

I'm going to have to try this walk away and take a deep breath method of resetting it rather than pulling the battery cables.

I also had ssn message about 20 times in 3000 miles. The dealership replaced 2 modules behind the push start button and 3000 more miles NO ISSUES!!! Might be luck or might be the fix. Don’t know

This symptom, and pop up message can be caused by a variety of problems. The service manager told me he had to replace the HV battery on one truck. But the VIN search by Ford Motor Company pointed to the software issue on our truck.

Experienced the same SSM 5122 issue about 2 weeks ago. Dealer has had the truck ever since waiting for a voltage sensor. Sensor to be replaced today and I'm expected to get it back today with no real guarantee that this will solve the problem. Very difficult being without a truck when you depend on it for towing and hauling. Especially when it comes at this price.

Just received word from Service Manager that Ford now has a TSB listed for this fix. It was posted yesterday. TSB 23-2317. Software updates are available for the following modules GWM, APIM, TCU.

Would love to see this one (F150 Powerboost issues) behind us.

There's gotta be a lot of folks that have new Powerboost that are not members of the forum. I imagine that's a much more alarming experience.

You know, my experience on Navy Submarines says when you get these odd things, you either have a connector not fully seated or there is corrosion inside one or more pins somewhere... Did any Powerboosts sit out in the fields awaiting chips?In active trucks is usually a ticket to problems like this.

Could someone check my VIN: 1FTFW1ED3PFB78406

And see whether the update pending is the same part number as called out in TSB 23-2317?

Are these OTA updates or do they have to be done at the dealership?

I've only read of 2023's having this particular issue.

It's very much not isolated to the 2023s, they just came onto the scene with a whole lot more frequency. We'd had this issue discussed before they were shipped.

Damn, that sucks. Very odd why the resolution is only for 2023's then.

I really love the truck, except this one issue. I'll be very happy to see it resolved once and for all.
