I’m sure it’s delayed due to calibration having to pass OE type testing. Roush has theirs done though, for 21 anyway. 22 calibration supposed to land next month

True, but theirs is available now, while "Fords" may not be.

2022 F150 XLT 5.0 (302A HIGH+ BLACK PACK)
Whipple stage 2 rated at flywheel 775HP on 93 octane, Ford Performance (CARB legal) "only" 700 HP.

Question 1: what is FP doing to bring down the HP while offering 3yr/30k warranty?
Question 2: possible to counteract the power downgrade , whilst trying to keep the warranty? (ECU re-tune perhaps)?
Question 3: What is the power output on a 775HP whipple on a regular 87 octanne gas? Is it ok to even use an 87 with a whipple setup? (Ive had SC Range Rovers and used 87 without any problems).
Question 4: What is fuel consumption on a whipple mounted F150? Huge losses or insignificant?

GT500 uses Eaton superchargers, is it safe to assume the easier way for Raptor R would be to use a Coyote engine + the Whipple. Ford Performance already announced that kit. Produces claimed 710HP and has 3 years warranty.

Also super quiet from FP on that kit release date. Are they dropping the Raptor R first?

1. No idea; could be calibration only, or smaller throttle body, or lower volume fuel rails, or lower volume injectors, or different plugs, only FP will be able to answer that until the kit contents are fully known
2. If I'm not mistaken, these vehicles maintain a calibration log. In the event of trouble, if a non-approved calibration was installed at the time of failure, bye-bye warranty
3. NEVER run a boosted coyote on anything less than your 93 (our 98 RON here); the increased risk of detonation will likely result in a busted ring, ring land, rod, or worse still, a scored bore. Shelby/Whipple trucks demand 93 for these reasons.
4. If you're going WOT a lot, be near a petrol station 🤣
