My dealership quoted me $800 to install a level kit, so I doubt they were going this route. I did not ask them what the brand of level was.
My dealer offered it to me last time I was in there for $550.
So must be negotiable..

I just had Alex @ Real truck contact Fox directly and confirmed as of today April 22, 2021. Fox does not have anything for the 2021 F150's......Fox told us that the 2017-2020 Fox 2.0 performance coil over will fit the 2021 f150 trucks, but they might fail prematurely.

I’m curious if the fox coilovers still work in this truck. Versus the 2016.
I ended up putting in rancho quiklift in my 2016 while my Fox were being rebuilt by the factory and tbh I like the rancho better for my everyday driving style.
Always wanted to try bilstein but I couldn’t justify switching it up and the rancho were only suppose to be temporary.
FWIW the 2.0 coilovers got pretty nasty with ~20K miles or less and ~2 years on the truck. But fox said that 2.5 coilovers would fair worse in my climate due to the build materials.
I would install them again, just don’t know the ramifications on my Powerboost yet.

My Bilsteins on my old truck looked like that after 2 years in the Northeast, I was not impressed with them. Thinking about going with the Falcon Sport Tow/Haul system if it has good reviews through this summer.

I have a set of Fox 2.0 coilovers that are set to the max height for level by Fox after the complete rebuild the Fox Factory in El Cajon did this winter for me.
Sitting all pretty in the box still and my wife doesn’t want me to put them on her Powerboost.
So, I’ll be unfortunately getting rid of them so that someone can enjoy them instead of them sitting in my garage.

Can anyone offer any input as to the advantage/disadvantage between going with the simple, inexpensive "block" leveling as opposed to replacing the entire shock?

I'm going to be using my truck regularly on steep, twisty mountain roads and maintaining as low of a center of gravity as possible is very important to my chances of NOT rolling my truck down the side of a mountain.

I don't want a "lift". I can negotiate the ruts just fine without the added ground clearance of a "Lift Kit".

And the factory "ride" on the highway is just fine for my needs. I just want to get rid of the rake.

Ricky Johnson describes the Fox 2.0 handling advantages nicely here.
I trust Ricky, I got to crew for him one weekend years ago. Awesome guy.
My only concern is Roush says the lower spring perch has to be adjusted 5/8" on the 2021 for their kit.
So its prob same kit as Gen 13. Prob fine but wonder if Ford version will be updated without that change. required.
So far my truck handles great to a point, at some limits on pavement it does get floaty, bouncy, hoppy, body roll, dives, so thinking about upgrade vs 1.5" puck. Smooth on the little dirt road/washboards I did, but haven't pushed it there yet.

Please help. Dealer is trying to deny drivetrain warranty over 2 in pick kit. Front differential failed. No I wasn't beating in it.

I would question how a 2” level, which most dealers install pre and post sale, impacted the durability of the diff. ‘Warranty void’ was a question I asked 8 different ways when I bought my truck & had the dealer do my level. They assured me that nothing changes in terms of vehicle warranty, and any dealer that says otherwise is being dishonest.

If your level was done somewhere else, I would get them involved. You may need to prove the level was done correctly. We have a lot of dealers on this forum & Ford also participates. You may want to tag them, so they see this and can provide guidance. Sorry your going through this.

Thank you. I've been faithful Ford guy since my first truck in 83. First time I've ever been screwed around like this. I'm more disappointed then pissed.

Well, unfortunately, it happens pretty often. I had a radiator issue with my 1996 Cobra that was appealed all the way up to Ford's Warranty Panel (or whatever it is called now). The car was under warranty, unmolested, and overheating. Dealer said the radiator was not providing sufficient cooling, but that it wasn't a warranty issue. I had to have the repair done and then do the appeal for reimbursement. I lost!

The 2" level changes the CV angles slightly, but you are in no danger of blowing up the diff. If there was an issue, it would be at the CV joints, I believe. Under what circumstances did it explode?
