I don’t think it would fit. The console has vents and charging ports for the backseat and sticks past the seats by like 2 inches on my SuperCab.
There's a little bit of room behind the seats. I keep a receiver hitch and a roll of paper towel back there on my side. And removing the middle seat would open it up. Somewhere there is a post of the guy that converted his single cab to a 12 inch screen and buckets with a console.

Check out this video. Not only does it fit...it looks perfect IMO

That is one thing I love about the STX, you can option the center console and it retains the column shifter. Coming from a console shift expedition I much prefer the extra console space with the shifter up on the column. It was a $300 option on the XL per my window sticker, it does require the STX Appearance package though according to the build site, so I guess no center console option for non-STX XL trucks.

I have the center console and column shift on my 302A XLT. Tbh, I wish you could get bench and column in all trims.

As for the style sides, I liked em, but would never want to live with them. They're heavier and less useful by a wide margin.

Oh yes and the 3rd pedal with 3 on the tree and a full bench seat.

Fly by wire heat and when I say wire I mean a true spiral cable and wire system.

Forget the vents and bring back the good old manual side vent windows.

Bring back the Excursion, with a ridiculously reliable 7.3 diesel, without crazy emission restrictions, and a $42,900 price tag for a loaded limited. (I know, impossible) I sure do miss mine but couldn’t ignore the market and sold it for a crazy amount that basically funded my Lariat 150.

I switched from both, when I went from a 90, to an 01 and never regretted it.

Not even a little.
