Ford ESP and Rentals

I plan to get a Ford ESP PremiumCare plan and am considering adding the First Day Rental and Enhanced Rental options. I'm curious if anyone has had good experiences with their dealer when using these benefits. Were you able to take advantage of them directly through the dealership, or were you mostly directed to arrange a rental yourself and then submit for reimbursement?

I plan to purchase both add on when I purchase my warranty. Covid wrecked the rentals/loaners at dealerships (except premium brands). No Ford dealers have rentals in Oklahoma, was told you have to rent and get reimburse. Just had it in for work this week. Check dealers in your area as I bet others around the country may differ.

Kinda what I'm thinking as well here which stinks and a pain. The biggest issue is you have to find a rental company that has Ford's to get reimbursed.

I have both on this and my previous F150. My dealer just put me a loaner. My last truck was in for 35 strait days and I had a new Expedition for the entire time. .

I contacted Granger on here not too long ago before buying my warranty thru them. They said you didn’t have to have the First Day Rental added if you wanted the Enhanced. You just select Enhanced.

When First day Rental is included for up to 10 days, it is capped at a maximum benefit of $40 per day. This Rental enhancement will bring the allowance up to $60 per day for up to the 10 allowable days. Does Not Include First Day Rental.

Haven’t checked but remember Enterprise used to deliver rentals. Also, the Ford dealers here have shuttle service to and from a location (Home, work rental car). Still a pain though when compared to taking in the Lexus or BMW for anything. Even if it’s a quick oil change.
