I've noticed a BIG uptick in media releases from Ford. I know they are entering a critical stage of the f150 release, but also had/has their shareholders meeting this week. I'm sure its no coincidence.
In any case, I can't stand Cramer.. but I like what I'm hearing from Fraley with respect to EVs. As opposed to GM, it appears like Ford is making significant investment and taking action vs just talk. I especially like the fact they acknowledge Tesla as a competitor in the marketplace and are going after it.
With respect to the f150, Farley seems to "get it" and I believe they are/will do everything to increase production and sell as many as they can.
Our business is gaining health and momentum, says Ford CEO Jim Farley (msn.com)
