Ford Bronco Sport Pics

I know this is an F-150 site, but I had the opportunity to test drive the Ford Bronco Sport today, and wanted to share some photos for the drive! This is a Badlands level trim in Carbonized Gray. It was equipped with a 2.0 liter, four cylinder EcoBoost engine.

The lift gate is able to open the top half via lifting the glass, or in the traditional manner

The coveted payload sticker!! 887 pounds, not too bad for a four cylinder

Some interior shots of the Bronco Sport Badlands. Note the bucking Bronco on the steering wheel that seems to draw similarities to the galloping Mustang on Mustang steering wheels

The backside of the front seats are equipped with MOLLE webbing, as well as close led zipper compartments. Pretty cool!

The cargo area also has a mid-mounted level partition. I was advised this will be an optional piece of equipment.

The cargo area partition fold out into a surface/table!

The LED lights on the lift gate are on swivels and can be moved to shine wherever needed.

I know it’s the insignia from the original Bronco. Just thinking Ford likes the overall theme of wild and free horses.

Saw one of those thing while visiting my dealer a couple of weeks ago.
Not for me at all, but I can see how this thing can turn into a great entry new car for many people.
Capabilities and owner modifications seem almost endless
Handy little grocery getter, home maintenance, taking a couple of rugrats to Chucky Cheese.
A few years down the road, decent teenager car that would be kind of inexpensive.

I would rather they brought back the big Bronco tho

True. If anything, I’d go for the full size Bronco too. I was a little dismissive about the Bronco Sport, but after being in it and driving it, it seems like Ford did it right, and didn’t make it a an afterthought to the bigger Bronco.

Saw one when I picked up my F-150 from the dealer. As a designer I actually really liked the design of it. Essentially it was a more rugged looking Escape though (both parked by each other). Same chassis, price, drivetrain, size etc.

If I was a younger person and didn't have a racecar to tow and a gang of kids I could see the attraction to either one. Probably good for errands and basic outdoor activities.

And of course they had a few big boy toys.

I wasn’t expecting much on the test drive, just drove it simply because it was there. But I was impressed, good little SUV!
