"Ford" Bed extender made by AMP

I bought the Ford accessories bed extender, so I could use FordPass points:

Come to find out its just an Amp Research unit that Ford licensed ? Thought I would put the info out for anyone interested.

Yep, this is the same exact bed extender. Except mine came in a Ford accessories box, instead of directly from AMP. Thought it was worth sharing.

Yeah, mine was in a ford accessories box that my dealer had waiting for me when I picked up the truck. It was ordered through the parts manager at the dealership. I didn't know it was AMP until I was reading the installation instructions and saw that AMP warranty page.

One thing to note, I skipped step 22 on my installation, I didn't have a 1/8" rivet. I still have the pieces in case I need them, but so far it's working perfectly without the rivets.

I overdid it on mine, actually put rivets in all 6 locations instead of just the 4 corners.

I can see where it would be plenty strong without any rivets though.

Its a well built product and I like it a lot.
