Antenna needs a blue pill.

Well after 10-12 hours at 80+ mph on a road trip to the Smokies, I can say that I LOVE my 21 XLT 4x 5.0.

So what’s my only complaint so far? The antenna whips around at speed. Seems petty I know but my wife noted it from the passenger seat and I can’t stop seeing it now.

I bought a bullet antenna for my new Lariot and will be returning it today. Reception terrible.

I have a Stubby brand on mine (I hate antenna's). Around town the reception is good, but on the road it is nonexistent I just listen to XM or music on a USB.

Yeah I had a bullet antenna a few years back for my '13 platinum and it wasnt the best, but for most people that use bluetooth or XM radio, might be OK.

Why do they even have that type of antenna? I have not had one like that since 2003. I did not realize they had this type until I test drove it. I am thinking about just buying the cap for it as I never listen to FM. I listen to satellite or my own.

Bought this off Amazon. Much more rigid and I get good reception.

ETA: plus the shorter length gives me plenty of clearance for my garage door.
