Flex Pipe Noise?

Anyone else notice or hear your flex pipe rattle when you close your doors? Got a January built XLT super cab and everyone I close the door I hear metal rattle from exhaust. It's quite annoying to hear that noise when I close the lightest F150 door ever. On top of it, I can hear it rattle when idling too. Taking in for service to dealership this Friday possible defect or loose clamp fingers crossed!!

I am having the exact same issue when closing the doors or idling. It's the same tin/rattle noise you hear from a hot exhaust after you park the car.

Sorry the day I took it in, I traded my super cab for a 21 Crew Cab 5.0 and the sound magically disappeared lol ? ? ?

I just had my truck into the dealership for this. While it sounds like the flex pipe, the sound that occurs when the exhaust is very hot is coming from the resonator. They ordered a new one for me but now that I’m seeing that many others have this issue, I’m concerned that the replacement isn’t going to fix it.

I have this issue...AGAIN after having the mid pipe replaced once. Once replaced sound was gone...but not for long...its back. It's the resonator itself. It rattles when hot. Its ridiculous. .going back to dealer again. Shotty welds internally i would wager. Ford, are you out there?

Same here. Couldn't replicate the noise for two different dealers; bought the part myself... month later rattle is back.

Is there a TSB for this yet? I have the same issue. Can replicate by bumping my fist against the resonator.

Not the resonator. I have this sound and have a Borla ATAK so no resonator.

Uhhh...yeah...it was the resonator, twice now. 100percent confirmed and fixed...Its also widely confirmed that the resonator is the culprit for most others, also. You probably have a different issue stemming from your please look at me exhaust setup.

Any update on this? My late build 2022 is doing this. I hear it when I’m in a drive thru window lane, idling, and like others when I shut the door. Drives me nuts.

Now on my 4th resonator pipe. And again after a few months of quiet, its rattling again. Ford messaged me but immediately dropped my complaint with zero resolution. Pretty sad.

Well that’s discouraging. Wonder if a resonator delete pipe would be worth it. Obviously wouldn’t do this until after warranty is up.
