Flag Mounting Ideas

Hey guys, since Memorial Day and Fourth of July is coming up I just wanted to get some ideas on ways everyone is mounting American flags on their trucks. I know of the receiver mount but I prefer to have flags in the bed. Thought this would be a good topic for everyone.

I've seen people construct wooden stands for the flags that they place in the bed. Not super elegant but it works

In the past I painted PVC pipes black and mounted them in the stake pockets of my ram and then mounted flags to them. I’m hoping the the new tailgate openings meant for clamping stuff down can be used in the same way.

I like this option a lot! Hopefully it can hold up to higher speeds, but looks like it would be easy to modify to make sure the pole is secured well if needed. Thanks

The clamp spots in the tailgate only go in about 3 inches.

Did you, but any chance, get a photo of it mounted? And drilling? Would love to see it! I’m about to pull the trigger on one/two of those for 2 flags but would love to see how it’s mounted. If it helps, I do have a tonneau cover. @SpaceWhiteF150 would love to see some pics too!

Here is a picture of my previous F-150. Will grab a snapshot of my 21 over the next day or so.

the pole mount is installed by removing the taillight. You attach it with 2 bolts, washers, and nuts. Reinstall tail light. 15 minute process.

The pole itself is a solid aluminum pole that I’ve actually left on while driving at highway speeds.
