You get what you pay for tho. I sell it on the side and like it.I like everything I've read about it, tests and all. Truck seems to like it, expensive stuff though.

If that is what you like there is nothing wrong with it. I have the oil ready for my new truck, but that is the new engine change. May go up to 1,000 miles or maybe less. it depends on how many things hurt when I get up that day. A friend of mine changes every 3,000 miles thinking of the "old days" when that was expected. I drive so few miles that I set mine at the 1 year change cycle. I just traded in my 2019 that had 8,300 miles on it and only 27 months. The second change on that 2019 oil was sent in and the "chemical guys" stated it would still be good oil if I used it for another 4,000 miles. It had 3,800 on it but the year had gone by. Todays oils last a long time.Changed my Powerboost at 901 miles. New Ford 500s filter and 6 quarts of Mobil 1 5-30 full synthetic extended service oil. Will do the same at about 2000 miles and then will set routine to 2500 miles per change. That will be 2 times a year, once in Spring and once in Fall. Maybe be a little excessive, but I do my own oil change and I keep my vehicle for 10 to 12 years.
I've been using the Kirkland oil for some time. It's the same as the Walmart oil. They're both from Warren I think from when I researched it a while back.I have the oil ready to go… still no truck yet lol. My plan is to change 1k into break-in then will probably be doing every other change myself.
For oil I got Costco branded, 10 quarts (two 5qt jugs in a box) of full synthetic for less than 25 bucks. A little suspicious, I researched it quickly and supposedly its actually pretty high quality stuff.
Considering the quick lubes around here charge 150 for a “truck full synthetic” I don’t see myself ever going there… For the ones I don’t do myself I would rather have the dealer do it, although it takes a lot longer there.
That oil must have gold mixed in to cost that much.I have the oil ready to go… still no truck yet lol. My plan is to change 1k into break-in then will probably be doing every other change myself.

For what it is worth.can anyone please let me know. Don't know what people think about Valvoline oil. Last weekend I received Valvoline coupon but was wondering if their quality is good. If anyone knows, please advise me.
Thank You
