I'm going to have a ceramic coating applied so I am telling the Dealer to not wash the exterior of my new F-150 when it gets in. What should I use to get the road grime and rail dust off the truck?

Just an FYI, most will recommend that your paint cure for 45-60 days before applying a ceramic coat.

Ha, my truck will be well cured by the time I get it. Hopefully the paint hasn't faded yet!

New vehicles go through a booth to "bake" the paint on. It doesn't need the cure time that paint from a body shop would need because of this.

I didn't know about this.. is it possible to check somewhere that my truck had this procedure?
