First drag runs with Beefcake Racing's 2022 Vortech F-150

Were spoiled with all our shop cars always running a 10 out of the gate.

Was hoping for a 10 out of the gate with the f150, and was dissapointed at first, but after really looking at all the data, i’m actually pretty pleased with this

3350 ft/da. 90 degrees. hot lapped off a 1.5 hr drive. 2nd gear leave with our Vortech centrifugal supercharger.

first pass annihilated the tires in 1st. hot lapped a 2nd gear leave. and on only 10psi on the vortech.

can’t wait to hit a good prepped track with some good air. 1st gear leave should get some low 1.5 if not high 1.4. i think she’ll go 10.5ish…
course we may turn it up before the good weather sets in.

A comparison might help you out.
Motortrend tested a 2020 corvette…the new shape one…and in ran slower than this F150. In my book it is impressive and I agree with you, cool truck and I am happy people are doing this stuff.

Just need a couple mph in that 1/8th even on that same 60 and it's right there. I bet you not touching a single thing and rerunning in good DA in a couple months it will go 10.60s/10.70s.
