Damn, yet ANOTHER factory delete. Bet the prices of the trucks that WOULD have come with the max recline seats with the articulated shoulders won’t go down accordingly. It will be a price INCREASE, with LESS premium features, instead!

I’m glad I got my 24 KR with those seats and the integrated key pad, and that I didn’t wait for the 25’s.

It is unfortunate for me that I wasn’t in the market for another truck earlier in the year…but then again the discontinuations hadn’t been announced yet

On the securicode keypad "DIO" now being $225 VS the $455 it was earlier .... I was told initially , the kit was going to be a wired-in unit, still in the door pillar...and the price reflected that. But now it's the "universal" kit that sticks to the side of the door....and is used across multiple lines, like the Maverick, etc.

I'm waiting for Ford to release the wiring diagram for the 25's to see if the securicode keypad pig tail is still in the drivers door. If it is you could probably add the wired keypad in the b-pillar for cheaper than the original $455 the factory wanted. IMO wired is the way to go, no need to deal with batteries in the wireless keypad, and it looks better.

Yeah, the timing sucks for the people that had to wait to order or buy. It just seems like Ford continues to cheapen what are supposed to be “premium luxury trucks”. They sure aren’t lowering the prices for less content.

I was just looking at this last night. I bet they pulled all the wiring out if I had to guess since they stripped it from all trims dang near, but its four wires straight from the keypad to BCM module so wouldn't be terrible to add really. As long as you can enable it and everything, should be a simple add.

I tried the 250 Super Duty Platinum Build for the first time today. Wow, there are so many options. It must be nice to have so many choices. As of today, they still show the Max Recline available on the Ford build site.

Yeah, I did the same thing. My dealer ordered a 250 with the max recline seats a couple of days before we worked on my 150 build / before his email to marketing. He is waiting to see if they stay or get cancelled on that order...... time will tell and I am hoping the information he was given is (possibly) wrong............

Thanks, Nate. Cargo cam confirmed. II bet they deleted the tailgate button with the Pro Access Tailgate. Just received a DELIVERED status on the Ford Tracking site. Awaiting conf. Looking a little chilly over there.

His key still has the button to drop the gate though. Few inches of snow here last few days. Temps in the 20s for next week or so.

Dang, just saw this thread and that large blank plate has me furious. Can’t believe Ford is leaving it this way and they consider that a finished product. Have no idea why they moved control down by audio as that’s just illogical:/. Sorry to the guys that ordered 2025 as it looks like yet another step back

Lack of above-screen buttons removes the possibility of even going w/ the 21's HVAC w/ digital readouts. You'll lose hazards, cams, etc...

Curious if the wiring is still back there are they're just going to town deleting wires from the harnesses.

Was wondering same thing myself, wonder if the connector is just move to the various locations and could put the button back in? I know one thing that I would do right away is tell them I’m accepting this as a finished product at 80k+. If they didn’t accept that I would just let them sell it to someone else. Can’t believe not more YouTube critics hitting on this.

It’s not up by the dome light, just the power slider.
Not sure on the console mark. Knowing him he won’t really care about that, it will get dirty anyway.

About two weeks after I picked up my 23 Limited, my 120 pound French mastiff decided to climb from the rear seat to the front and left a pretty good scratch in the leather cover of the console. Ordered a cover for it off Amazon that day.

One of the things the CEO talked about at the end of 2023 was reducing the number of unique parts on the various F-150 trims. I wouldn't be terribly shocked to find one infotainment/dash wiring harness across all the trim levels for 2025. Might explain the button removal and relocation. Or they are just really bad at understanding ergonomics.

Confirmation needed....

Can I get confirmation that a 25 Plat PB will have the dynamic laser cruise control? Ive heard a few things recently that has started to make me question this and that is very concerning... quite possibly could be a deal breaker and cancel my current order.. Im pretty sure it does have this feature but i'd feel a lot better if that can be 100% confirmed.. Thank you.

Are you talking about Adaptive Cruise Control or BlueCruise? I believe both of these are standard on the Platinums, with the BlueCruise needing the subscription.
