You have to enable the keypad in forscan like the video posted above shows, very easy to do.

It sucks the got rid of the tailgate button on the interior of the truck. I searched the BCM wiring to see if the wires still exist to maybe add the button but I couldn't find anything.
Thanks for the effort! There's room for a tailgate button above the screen 🤪 Personally, I used the tailgate button plenty. Same for the display and audio.

Haha, yea plenty of room above the screen. Ford does some odd things. They also got rid of the power telescoping steering wheel on the lariat trucks. You have to get a king ranch or above to get that option now.

Update…got a text from my salesman that the truck was delivered tonight just before closing, had to go look👀
Yes to HUD, yes, interior tailgate switch is gone, yes, only the parking button is above the screen, screen on and off is in vehicle settings as are pro power settings…tailgate nudge to close still works; I was misinformed about the tailgate step with the pro tailgate, it’s one of those stupid frame mounted steps and it’s next to the hitch, if I had realized this I would not have spent the money
Also, front buckets appear to be the pre 2021 buckets.
Dealer still has to clean, fill, door edge guard, install the Rudolph nose and pinstripe the truck so Monday earliest but I’ll go by and take more pics Saturday in the daytime
One black tremor my Star white plat, one silver xlt, one black lariat and one silver lariat are what was on the transporter

Good afternoon Group, I picked up the new truck Monday, the dealer was kind enough to give me two bays so that I could do the (5hr)switch (it was an instantly bone chilling-8 here Monday so I was/am very thankful I've got a great dealer)
I know these are first world problems but I've got a few whines...first off I'm too cheap and impatient to spend the $14,345 Platinum® Plus (703A) Equipment Group option (this would've involved canceling my order and going to the back of the cue on a truck that I knew had already been built plus the additional $14,345 so only black interior, no articulated front seat shoulders, no max recline seats)

As has been reported, a lot of little stuff was taken away, no (free) box link cleats, no foot switch for the running boards, no interior tailgate release, no door pillar keypad, Hell, no canvas pouch for the one book in the glove box...License plate bulbs are no longer LED and whatever else they removed from above the screen to leave only the parking assist (that's an assumption because I'm a great parallel parker so it's another button I've never used) the screen shut off is now in the settings and it's still too cold to be figuring out what is what so if there's something specific you'd like to know you'll have to shoot me a message.

Yes, I'm well aware that I'm very fortunate that I can afford this thing, but I'm still annoyed (mostly at myself) that I spent 12k more for this truck than the last one and I got "less"; on the plus side, I like that they moved the headlight indicator from the lower left corner of the instrument panel to the upper right corner, and I'll have to get used to or at least figure out the rather active instrument panel (brake coach flashes at every stop, "bluecruise available" flashes a lot and seemingly a few other momentary informational items that I see as the trip gauge reappears) Ford seems to have done some tuning because with the 200 miles that I've put on, it's clear this thing has decidedly more grunt than the 21 did, I do like the front end treatment better and I'm sure I'll find the "barn door" tailgate useful (somehow the pickup box must be a touch longer or the tailgate is a touch thinner because the (four truck old Extang full tilt) tonneau cover is short by about 3/4" and certainly not water tight at the moment...something else to address when it's not stupid cold

Thanks for taking the time to listen to my rather windy whine about good fortune, the eye rolls were entirely warranted, I'll now step down off of my severely taxed soapbox

Congrats on the truck! I feel ya, it's great to be able to afford the truck but it really sucks to pay so much more and get so much less. Man, I had no idea the running boards were missing the foot switch. That's a low blow right there. Used them all the time on my 23! Every time I washed the truck and they absolutely came in handy getting to things in the back of the truck. I'm guessing we have to use the sync settings now. The keypad and the button deletes are like salt in a wound, wtf! Someone should be fired for these idiot decisions. Pay more, get less. Total BS! Congrats to the guys that bought in 24. Ford really burned us in 25.

This is why we pushed on getting a 24 and not a 25, because of all the deletes Ford had done.

Would have done the same but most in my area had lots of demo miles and no PAT. I like the Iconic Silver, that makes it even tougher to find, especially when you don't want a PB.

Whats worse is im pretty sure they deleted Active Park Assist. So the Park button that they left above the screen looks for parking lots? May be wrong but thats what i've heard. I know my 24 Raptor does not get that option and thats what my button does. Pretty useless. If it did get deleted its wild that its the only button that they decided to keep up there.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. That's all it did on my 23. Really, who drives a truck and can't park the thing. 360 cameras make it pretty damn easy.

Confirmation needed....

Can I get confirmation that a 25 Plat PB will have the dynamic laser cruise control? I've heard a few things recently that has started to make me question this and that is very concerning... quite possibly could be a deal breaker and cancel my current order.. I'm pretty sure it does have this feature but I'd feel a lot better if that can be 100% confirmed.. Thank you.
Are you referring to Bluecruise?

I hear you, PB are everywhere here and we didn’t want that either. Your truck is still nice. May have to do some relocating of switches and additions. Another thing upset was, when I found they discontinued the spare locks. I had to buy one from ford and it is keyed differently.

There is was... That's the 2024 config. Apparently, the 2025 lost the tailgate release button in the cab. That's what we're seeing so far with the 25 trucks that offer the PAT. Release still appears on the remote though. Does it work, no confirmation yet. Does the FOB button work from inside the truck, same, no confirmation. Anyone know, let us all know.
Yes to both

Probably referring to the Adaptive Cruise Control. On my Jeep, they called the feature I am asking about Dynamic Laser Cruise Control where there is a laser off the front under the bumper that maintains your cruise and the distance behind the vehicle in front of you.

Im hoping that Fords Adaptive Cruise Control is the same exact thing... Its a feature that I have grown extremely fond of.

Confirmations on this would be very appreciated.. Thank you.
Yes, the adaptive cruise on the F150 works that way...right down to the vehicle in front of you coming to a fuill stop, you just have to push the button when that vehicle pulls away
