Anyone using the Firestone Destination X/Ts? I’m thinking of upgrading from the factory rubber and want to add some better off-road/wet road performance - since I’ve got the max tow I’m wanting a tire with a hefty load index - these seem to fit the bill; wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with them.

Good post!!
After doing a bunch of research I will be replacing my Ridge Grapplers with a set of XT's in the fall.
They will be 275 60 20 load range E.

I had these on my 2007 F 150 4x4 and they were good in snow, a tad noisy on the highway, but were absolutely amazing stopping in the snow. It was almost like dry pavement. Not kidding.

Snow? What’s that? Here where it was an unseasonably cool 88 with 80+% humidity today we don’t see much snow - lots of mud, clay, and sand though. I’d imagine if they are that good in snow they’d be good in the slick dirt though.

New tires just went on!
Firestone Destination XT
275 65 20.

On the drive home they were very quiet and just as compliant as the XL rated Ridge Grapplers that I took off.
I didn't notice any difference in steering feel or acceleration, which is always a concern with E load tires.
I can't wait to see how they do in the wet and snow!!

Looks great! Is this with stock suspension, or do you have a lift kit? If stock, any rubbing?

I’d like to put 34s on mine (22 XLT FX4), but don’t want to lift at all.

Just Bilstein 5100's all around, the front was only raised an inch.
No rubbing at all.

Yes
I think the best thing about that tire and size is the weight. I'm seeing 53lbs. Is that what you see?

53lbs which will help with mpg and won't kill the performance of the truck.

Same weight as Toyos and with some others being lighter tho. I do like how they have full depth sipes. That’s something most other brands don’t do. If they would update them with a more appealing sidewall I think they’d be a hit.

Quick update on the XT's.
I finally had the chance to test the wet weather traction and I'm totally impressed. The XT's were very hard to break traction and I was being very aggressive on the throttle. Definitely no hydraplaning in standing water.
They are a huge improvement over the Ridge Grapplers I had on the truck, as a comparison in the same conditions and locations the Ridge Grapplers would slip like crazy and I could barely touch the throttle without spinning.

I will provide another update once we get some snow on the roads.

Thanks for starting this thread! After all my tire research I landed on these as the best balance of performance, weight, and look. Glad to hear they're working well. Had any snow to test them out in?

I'm hoping to fit the 275/65/20 on my '23 Powerboost 4x4 without a level. From what I've been reading I think they should fit.
