Hell, I'm still stuck on 1.4

I was also stuck on 1.4. I had enabled autoupdate, then later scheduled update, but only chose the day of the week that I did it. After reading on this forum to chose more than one day, which is NOT how the menu appears, that afternoon my August built 2021 jumped up to the 2.1 update.

Just picked up F150 from local Ford dealer - 2nd attempt - who had the truck for 3-4 hrs. I had been unable to turn on updates since new and version was blank. I now have SYNC 4, Software Version: 20312_PRODUCT, Revision: 243. Updates now turn on normally. They said that would take a couple of days to do BlueCruise etc. but, I elected to see if the OTA updates work. If not successful will return later. I also installed battery charge/maintenance cable to can attached during OTA updates just in case...

WOW. Suddenly got this. I have not gotten the recall.. Last week i got 1.71.


EDIT: Suddenly lost the bed camera now. Just shows up as BLUE screen.

Got the update last week, and tried to look at the bed camera yesterday and it was also a blue screen.

As of 5/2/22, I now have SYNC 4, Software Version: 20312_PRODUCT, Revision: 243. Updates now turn on normally. But no updates since and it reports I am "up to date." Updates are on and nothing happens on days chosen. So I have scheduled Bluecruise through local dealer for 5/11/22. Told it will take 8 hrs, and I believe this will be their 1st Bluecruise attempt. Their correction of my failure to turn on updates went well, so here's hoping this will be successful also. Thanks to all who have been contributing to this thread, nice to see we all have company.

Took my truck to the dealer for the stuck update and they had it door about 4 hours. The CSP recall message disappeared from my Ford Pass and they said they did the work but still blank under the sync version screen and updates are still greyed out in the settings and cannot be toggled on. Hopefully, fingers crossed, it magically worked and the truck will update. Otherwise it will be back to the dealer again and hopefully it can get fixed. Jan 2021 build date and been stuck since last, at least October ish.

Got the update last week, and tried to look at the bed camera yesterday and it was also a blue screen.

Update - Did some forscan mods yesterday and today the camera worked. Not sure what that was about.

This is a follow-up on May 7 post: Build date on my F150 was March 2021, one of the early builds. At about 2000 total miles after a trip to Los Angeles, had a total electrical failure with no warning which is interesting since there is no way to open the tailgate without power, if have a power tailgate option. They need a key slot similar to what they have on the door. (tools, charger etc better not have in back if using any type of topper cover). Obviously sat in lot too long before delivered - battery replaced when returned to Wyoming courtesy of Ford.

May 7 post shows when Fremont Motors, Lander, WY solved the greyed out update problem, and yesterday they installed the BlueCruise update. My FordPass app notified me during the update, that I now have "Ford BlueCruise**hands-free driving feature is now active........" with one year complimentary (actually expires 5 months). One module would not install, but hasn't affected anything that I can tell, and supertech (my term) assures me he will be checking with Ford and get back to me. Attached is where my updates stands. 10+ Rating on Fremont Motors, Lander, WY.

I got the 22-PU0706-SCH-POPA update, then a week later got those 2. After the first one it deleted all of my scheduled days and times to do updates and I had to redo them. My truck is parked where it has a wifi signal, but I think they actually downloaded while I was out driving. Can't tell you anything more specific than that.

Can you expand on this? I'm currently stuck on 1.4 and don't see a way to choose more than one day...thanks

You’re up to date as far as go OTA updates. To get a newer Sync version you’ll need to go the FDRS route or wait for the OTA.

Thanks... so if I update my settings to auto update overnight a few times a week, there's a chance it'll catch up at some point?
