I would suggest using the 2-part plastic epoxy for this, I’ve done it to a friend’s XLT when his came in; still waiting on mine to come in. It’s been holding since winter, no issues so far but prep is key! I’ve seen a few people use 3M dual sided tape, some have said it popped off and some has worked for some people. I love using 3M double sided tape as it’s easier to swap out if you need to with another badge but 2-part plastic epoxy is a lot better and stays in without it popping out and losing it on the road lol. Be sure to test fit it to make sure it sits perfectly the way you want it before applying the expoxy and use clamps to hold the badge in after the export is applied for a few hours to be safeIs anyone using a 2 part epoxy to attach the new badge?
Which did you use? JB weld, Perma?I would suggest using the 2-part plastic epoxy for this, I’ve done it to a friend’s XLT when his came in; still waiting on mine to come in. JB Weld, it held really good. Just be sure to squeeze out the little bit off when you open it then screw the tip on; ensures it’s mixed properly. They have a 5 min one and a 15 min one. I just clamped it for about 2-4 hours, then mounted it back on the truck.Which did you use? JB weld, Perma?

I used the 3M double side automotive tape. We'll see how it holds up.Is anyone using a 2 part epoxy to attach the new badge?
Am curious to see how long it holds up, any corners popping up yet?I used the 3M double side automotive tape. We'll see how it holds up.
Nope. But it has also only been a week.Am curious to see how long it holds up, any corners popping up yet?
Not sure about the other options out there, but my custom badges from Badge King were 120. It's less for his standard badges. What's the cost for the badge inserts?
I never emailed him, but he was real responsive on Facebook Messenger. Usually replied within a couple hours. He did say he was behind about a week due to some family stuff so my order took about 5.5 weeks.Still no Badge King badges, paid June 14th....Ive emailed twice asking ETA. No response.
