(Feb 13) 2021 F-150 Production Constraints

I have a VIN. my truck is 'in production'. I have a window sticker. I have a blend date (Feb. 20). How safe, or not, am I from all these shortages. My order has the bed liner in it. Will it still proceed with production as planned or will it stall, yet again?

Is you line a spray in or drop in, that makes a difference. The statement is clear though, if your truck is not completed you will more than likely face a push back. Even built trucks are facing delays in shipping due to bad weather.

I have the spray-in. Given the fact I had a blend date, I was under the (perhaps false) impression that it meant they had all the parts set aside and ready for a build.

Hi guys, new to this forum. I am purchasing a dealer order(10-13-20) F150 CC Lariat Powerboost and was told it was built and shipped. I was suppose to get it by the 3rd week of January, then the first week of February and now the dealer is saying they are not getting any response from dispatch. The Dealer owner is supposed to be reaching out to the regional manager for more info today. Unless I'm getting smoke blown up my a** or the dealers are in the dark too?
Tried the tracker tool and am confused:

These are difficult times. The blend covers the building of the truck, the spray in liner is an accessory that is applied after the build. It can hold things up if they are backed up or having issues getting their supplies.

This was one reason I strongly recommended people get the the Line-X or something similar after delivery, the other was life time warranty vs Ford's 3 year 36,000.

That is odd. Built on 4 Jan yet the ETA is 18 Apr.

That makes no since unless it was damaged some how while in transport or failed some QC issue. The regional manager should be able to clear it up.

My situation is similar Trevor. Mine was built 1/22/21 and has yet to ship. Thinking spray in bedliner, wheel well liners, and with the news of the phantom battery drain issues, they might be holding them back.

yep, sorry it is working out this way for ya!

Mine was at least 5 weeks late for all the issues that kept popping up. Once you get it all will be well and they are worth the wait, believe me!

I ordered mine on nov 16th, built on 2/3, shipped 2/7, in transit now. Mine has the wheel well liners, max recline seats, and max tow with a 5L so these may no longer be holdups.

Are the wheel well liners similar to the spray in liner, and don't after the blend date?
