Got this from Pioneer74 over in another area and thought it could help some here, not my usual source since I have received my truck. Looking like some supply disruption again

Yikes. I guess my platinum with max tow and bedliner probably won’t get built March 1 as I was told.

Eww. If I already have a build date and blend date of the 18th would this affect my order? I have the bed liner, wheel well liner and tonneau cover on my build

Crap. Truck is built but waiting for the box liner. 4-6 week delay - I wonder if it could just be canceled at this point

When I ordered mine back in early October, my salesman told me to take the spray in bed liner and tonneau cover off the order, cause they always cause delays. On the spray in bed liner I have heard that they wait till they get x amount on the lot before they come in and spray them. So if the number is say 100, and your truck is the first one in that batch, it will sit till they have 100 that ordered that option.

Folks,
I would recommend taking this info with a grain of salt.
My Lariat with a blend date of 2/9 went into production and build was complete on 2/13.
it does have pwr running boards, spray in bed liner and wheel well liner.
Right now, my status is 'Built', waiting to get shipped to dealer.
Maybe the above delays are caused after the week of 2/13?

I'm starting to think that those of us that a production date but a very long delivery date that maybe Ford has already built this delay into the ETA date. I was looking at the delivery date for a 2020 on another forum and the delivery dates for my area are typically 3 weeks(+/-) . For my 2021 the production date to my ETA is a ridiculous 7 weeks so I'm hopeful this delay is already added. If the 4-6 week is in addition then I'm going to scream.

You are one of the lucky ones. There are number of us that were built in Feb and some built in late January that have Production and ETA date but our status is "In Production". The source that Bob provided is from another forum and from what I can tell is rock solid. My guess is the delays are real but it might not be a complete shutdown that impacts everyone. It looks like you snuck through.

This mostly looks like third party stuff.
Wonder if it is weather or possibly supply/Covid related

So, I know that if a truck has a blend date, it means they have all the parts reserved. Is the same true if I just have the VIN and a build week? My secondary status shows a build date of 28 February as of Thursday
