Ordered my Limited in October 2021, build date Jan 2022, finally delivered Aug 22. picked up at my dealer At Koon's. Service history shows AC repair at Granger on 7/14/22 4,230.00. This is odd!

So your saying you didn't even buy a warranty from granger? And that purchase had occurred before you took possession? That blows what granger just posted out of the water. They say the system makes errors when they enter the sale. But here you didn't even purchase anything from them. Granger said something to the effect that thus issue might be confusing. Ya right.Ordered my Limited in October 2021, build date Jan 2022, finally delivered Aug 22. picked up at my dealer At Koon's. Service history shows AC repair at Granger on 7/14/22 4,230.00. Yours looks worse because it shows just 5 thousand in maintenance. I as a buyer would suspect you wrecked the truck and made a deal with the dealership to hide the fact.Well all of this talk got me wondering so I looked at my Ford app and found something similar with my local Ford dealership. However I bought my extended warranty through Granger not the local dealer. So it looks like I'm making a phone call to see what's going on. They did the axle replacement but that shouldn't show up on my records. Should be $0 and fall under Ford Warranty right?

Yah no kidding... Why'd ya make me look!?!?Yours looks worse because it shows just 5 thousand in maintenance. I as a buyer would suspect you wrecked the truck and made a deal with the dealership to hide the fact.
This is only reflecting in your FordPass incorrectly and is not on your warranty or repair history. We've been in contact with Ford on resolving the issue but it hasn't been fixed. We continue to press Ford. This does not showup on your service record or CarFax. If you are wanting confirmation, feel free to contact the team at 844-570-2507 and they will be able to show you some screenshots of your vehicle and record. Again, this only shows up on your FordPass app and nothing else, but once Ford resolves the issue, it will be off your FordPass.I'm more suspicious and angry than confused. Also when I go to sell my truck the only thing I can show is what's on my app. 5 thousand for AC repairs?
Why is this only happening to you? Are you benefitting from this in any way?
I suggest you press the issue with your ford contact. In the mean time tell us how we get valid service records.
Who makes the software? I tried searching for that name and only found a GPS tracking outfit. Is it a phone app or software for computer? It could be a simple wrong VIN was entered. I have been using a software package called CarTrac to log everything about my last 3 trucks. I scan all WO's and receipts and save in a file. The hard copies go into a binder. Sounds like a lot but really isn't. That way there are next to interesting or no mistakes and hav the paperwork to back it up.
Everett G. Collins is the where I got mine from - Mine is a older version but works on Win 11 so I haven't upgraded it. I went looking and found the latest version was 2012 4.11. Looks like they are gone. I would search for vehicle expense software on line for win 11 compatibility.Who makes the software? I tried searching for that name and only found a GPS tracking outfit. Really?!? You would assume an owner was able to work an obviously illegal transaction with a dealer and label it as an AC repair? That line of reasoning is flawed for many reasons not the least of which is that an HVAC replacement could easily cost $5000.Yours looks worse because it shows just 5 thousand in maintenance. I was referring to the other dealer. Besides this needs to be rectified. Nothing is going to get done unless we say some thing. Yes granger responded the best way they can. Funny my truck was in the shop yesterday and my service adviser asked me about the ac repair. He also stated that my last visit when they replaced half the exhaust and the 4 oil changes were not listed. What was he looking?Really?!? Instead of continually throwing out unfounded speculation and rants regarding one of the excellent sponsors of this site, why don't you pull up your service history or look at the CarFax and see if the AC repair is there. Granger's response was clear and respectful, maybe you could show a little of the same.
Interesting. I purchased both my extended warrantied from Granger for my 23 F150 and 23 Explorer and neither of them show up in my FordPass app in service history.I purchased my ESP warranty through Granger, and it showed up on my app as Air Conditioning & Heating.
When my truck was very, very new, I had the dealer perform the first couple of oil changes and tire rotation before I took over those duties myself. Both of them showed up in FordPass as a front-end wheel alignment and tire balance. I suspect it just the checking of a wrong box, done in haste.
Indeed and Yep.This is just the latest thread regarding the issue that has existed for a few years now.
It's 100% a software shortcoming.
And how can that surprise anyone around here?
Did you notice that it's most often categorized as AC service?
Alphabetically speaking, what do you want to bet that is the first possible listing in some table in some database somewhere on the Motorcraft cloud?
I suspect it hasn't been addressed 2.5 years after I experienced the same, because it's so benign that it can't get airtime in some department at Ford that has the keys to the solution.
Piling on the seller, who offers us ESP at the lowest rate? Yeah, that'll fix it!![]()
