I wouldn’t waste your time balancing the same tire over and over. Ask for a new tire, DT is good about that in my experience. You can also jack up that corner yourself and see if it’s out of round. Get it barely off the ground and spin it and see if it’s get hung up.

I purchased these through my local Discount Tire in Ft Wayne, IN.
I am returning to the store tomorrow to double check the wheel balancing. I m experiencing a slight steering wheel shake, the driver side front wheel has many wheel weights on it. I am going to see if they can road force test them, hoping they can get them dialed in better. I'm not sure if the tire is out of round or not, I saw them place that wheel on the balancer a few times.

Falken makes a good tire, but they seem notoriously difficult to balance.

Definitely looks good although i prefer the tread pattern of the Ridge Grapplers.
I think im over the battle of keeping the front end true with the combination of level and heavy wheel/tire.

I did just that, I took them back to Discount Tire to double check run out and 3 of them were over normal run out readings.
The store manager is going to try and get me set up with 3 new tires. Hopefully the new ones arrive with better quality/run out numbers.

I did talk with Tech support at Falken just out of curiosity and they did recommended a 39psi front and rear cold for air pressure for my specific application. I see multiple people asking what PSI to run, my tires are the LT285/55/22 for reference.

Stock is 35 psi per door id tag.

I’m very interested in this tire. Aggressive looks but still some on road sensibilities is what it seems like. Keep us updated!

Apparently these Coopers are only 43 lbs. for the stock 275/60/20" sizes. That's nice.

This update irritates me. How many times are you supposed to go back for rebalancing before YOU have to specifically ask to check for runout? They should be doing that from the get go. Let me guess, they warrantied the tires but charged you for new “certificates”? I had similar experience with discount tire and as nice as they are, makes me want to look elsewhere.

Really happy with them so far, have to update in a couple weeks after some highway time etc but so far didn’t really notice an mpg change.
