do you find alot of road noise with the new tires? did the MPG sfuffer as well?
There is no noticeable road noise increase going from Hankook to the KO2's. It's still whisper quiet on the freeway for me. I only drove the Hankooks for about 100 miles and so far the KO2s a couple of miles home from the dealership, so I don't have any insight into MPG cost for them. Mine are also the same size (276/60R20) as stock, so that may effect mileage as well.

Pro Comp 2.5" level kit with LT295/65R20 Open Country M/T. This is a 3.5 EcoBoost Max Tow Package truck and it goes lock to lock with no scrubbing or trimming. I've got about 500 miles on the truck, and I definitely went from almost 18mpg to ~15.5mpg with a good mix of highway and city. The tires are a little nosier than the factory Scorpion ATR. I've started to see some stuff about recalibrating the speedo for larger tires. I'm learning about FORScan for the first time. I work at a Ford dealer, so I will have to get with some of my techs to see what they have to say.

Did you go to the LT tire or stick with non-LT? I am leaning to the 275/65R20 but want to use a non-LT tire (to save weight and MPG hit) so the option is limited for tire brand/model

These are LT rated. I tow and drove through off road terrain quite a bit, so I preferred LT.

I can't decide between the Sport 18" Wheel or Sport 20" Wheel. I am the Sales Manager for a Ford store and I am in control of ordering so I ordered two identical trucks, one with the 18" wheel and 20" wheel. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I am hoping some people on here are planning on running a more aggressive tire with their stock wheels. If any of you out there plan on doing this please post pictures on this thread. I am hoping it will help me make a decision before I have to make my own decision...Thank you in advance!
18" sport then get Venomrex 601/602 in 20"

Beautiful truck. Did you have to do any modifications to the crash bars? Looks great!

Was planning on having a Readylift 2" level and tires installed today.. UPS decided to shit on those plans and wait until Monday to deliver my leveling kit, despite it being in my area since Wednesday........ Anyway, I decided I'd still have the tires put on at Discount and just get the level put on when those bastards decide I'm allowed to take ownership of it.

285/65r20 BFGoodrich KO2s. No lift/level and no rub whatsoever.
Will update with pics after the 2" level kit is installed.

After researching if wheel spacers were dangerous or not, I found out they are not. Due to some reasons why people find them dangerous was because of the following: Cheap spacers, lack in torquing the studded spacers, no center core, not putting extended studs.

People say that your wheel bearings will get damaged with spacers, that is true, same goes for people who are running aggressive wheel setups on their cars WITHOUT spacers. Our cars came with weak offsets for a reason, same goes with the mugen GPS or even HFP rims for our wheel bearings are designed for that kind of OEM rims.

Also putting wheel spacers on will be your last resort IF you can't find the right specs in rims you wanted (the one want that'll be aggressive) and want your wheels to look aggressive but do not have the extra money to sell your current rims.

and the other reason why ppl put them on is to clear out the inner wheel from hitting the struts (if running modified suspension) and also to clear brakes. (evos put them on the clear out their brembos)

such as this

or this

Just!!! use!!! them!!! carefully!!!
and you will be safe!!!
Curios if anyone has used Bora 3/8" or 1/2" with he stock wheels?

So I'm trying to get a Platinum in and I think one of the main reasons the wheels/tires look bad is because of the lack of white letters like the other trims.. Current plan is to swap out the tires to Pirelli ATR Plus tires.. Get the outlined white letters, and a more aggressive looking tire..

Other option is to scrap the wheel/tire all together and go with something aftermarket but I can't find anything I like that doesn't have a wider offset.. So who knows... Gotta get my local dealership to get me in a truck first.. The problem this week is that the dealer that has the truck I want will not release it to them, so we've moved on to another one a few hours away.. Fingers crossed...
I also had the dealership swap out the tires on my new truck.....I went with the Perelli
A/T PLUS...a great look with the raised white letters, and an aggresive looking tire but yet still a quiet ride on the road....I'm picking the new truck up this week when the tire swap is complete....even my salesman commented on how the truck will "pop" with the raised white letter tires on.....

Your truck does not have a level correct? Can you measure the rear and front fender height - the truck looks more level than others (including the white truck posted just above) I assume this is due to the Powerboost? I like this look - if there is no interference I am not sure you need a level
