Well that just changes everything I’ve had in mind. 😖
Same thing happened to me. My initial plan was to run a set of Raptor take offs in summer & throw some dedicated winter rubber on my stock 20" sport wheels...but the max tow package my truck came with threw that idea out the window.

What is the optimal tire diameter for stock 20s with a level on a supercrew? Is 34 the best looking? 34.5? I'm a little overwhelmed with all the size options

That‘s pretty subjective but for me it’s 33s. 285/60/20

Anyone have the Lariat BAP wheels with aftermarket tires? I should be getting my truck soon and having a hard time visualizing what my BAP wheels will look like if I level the truck and upgrade the tread

Wondering if anyone has pictures of Goodyear trailrunner ATs on the 20 inch sport rims?

Looking to upgrade the hankooks to something a bit better in winter and for when I go on dirt roads. I do mostly highway driving but do some gravel roads when fishing/ hunting. I had duratracs on my 2019 but they got too noisy for my daily driving.

I'm not a fan of chrome but damn your truck looks awesome!
Just to confirm, with those tires you don't have any rub? Can you post a picture of the poke?

Anyone have OWLs? Want the aggressive tire tread, but with the white lettering.

Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/60/20 on factory Platinum wheels + 2" Ready Lift level. No rubbing / no trimming required. These obviously aren't as quiet as the factory Hankooks but are remarkably quiet for such an aggressive tread pattern. There's a slight hum but after a few miles you don't notice anymore. First 15 mile trip seems to still engage electric mode as usual. I'll report my MPG change after a larger sample size.

Current measurements - FRONT 39-9/16" // BACK 40⅜" (Now that the truck is a year old the suspension has settled about ¼" front & back, compared to new.)

Have a stock XL crew cab. Just ordered the sport 18" wheels for $600 shipped on ebay. Just deciding on tires. 95% on road driving,4% towing aluminum cargo trailer(3k lbs) , 1% off road. Live in south FL, plan on traveling up north at some point.

The current 17" steelies with 265 tires look so small. Suggestions on tire size and tires? Don't mind paying for the best if they will improve ride quality/handling. Do i want 275/65/18 or 275/70/18? Total noob with tires and wheels, appreciate the help from all of you that know this stuff.

Look at a Cooper AT3 XLT or Cooper ATP tire in 275/70R18. Really any quality all terrain! If you shop smart you can find a light aggressive looking tire with great on road characteristics!

You can go all the way up to a 295/70/18 on a stock truck so it really depends on what you’re going for. The sport wheels come with 275/65/18 which look small in my opinion but it’s really up to what you prefer. To help you out I’ll put a list in order from stock to biggest size you can fit without any modifications.
275/65/18 (stock)- 32.1 diameter
275/70/18- 33.2 diameter
305/65/18- 33.6 diameter
285/70/18- 33.7 diameter
295/70/18- 34.3 diameter

Awesome. Thanks for the info. 275/70/18 sound good. Do you think it will nuke my mpg on my 2.7 eb 4x4 supercrew?

If you are stepping up to a LT load range E tire, yes your mileage will suffer. That adds 15-20 lbs per tire. All the tires I saw in 275/70 R18 were LT’s.

I have 295/70/18s Recon Grapplers on stock 18s with a level , no trim or rub and lost 1 mpg. The larger wheel does understate your MPG, miles driven and DTE. A little arithmetic results in them being 5.6% understated, correcting for that I lost about 1 mpg. This is on 3.5 EB Crew 4x4

Its only one size up from stock so I doubt it will make much of an impact, the biggest factor that takes a hit on MPGs is the tire weight.
