I'm guessing you didn't need a level to fit those? I think this is the size I'm going to go with, as well. They look great! I wouldn't mind doing a slight level with a bilstein swap when they come out for our year, though.
No level, I didn’t have a level with the ridge grapplers either which were 295/70/18

White letters in, thank god. Probably just offended someone over 50 in this group ?

Felt a bad wobble so immediately pulled into the next DT on my way home. We’ll see if I’m crazy.

First impressions, WOW. I’m so damn happy. You know when you warm up with a heavy bat then use a normal bat? That’s the feeling. It’s roughly 12LB lighter per corner but I can definitely tell. Pics to follow.
Glad to hear it all worked out for you! Just curious, what gear ratio are you running? And you also have the 5.0 correct?

3.55 and nope I have the 2.7
Okay makes a lot of sense then to feel a big difference. When cruising around not in boost I’m sure the smaller V6 struggled a bit more to get those bigger tires rolling. Glad you found a solution love the look of the big Goodrich tires! (y)

I’m happy! Got 265.00 back in the process too. Loved my 285/65/20 on my last truck, I think this is a good compromise.

Looks great! I have the 275/70/18 KO2’s on my 2016 and they have been absolutely fantastic. My 2021 is arriving with 20” rims and I will be changing to KO2’s as soon as I receive it (hopefully soon).

Installed K02s today. 275/70/18… not going to level. Need the rake. Just wanted slightly taller.

Looks perfect.. did you take much of a mpg hit? Can you notice the extra weight of the tires driving around?

Finally got tires installed 295/60r20. Wife got the pictures more to come, but early input no rubbing, plenty of space, smooth ride. And the before is below

Nice truck. Do you have a straight on shot of the poke with the new shoes?

Thanks! I haven’t hand calculated yet but I’m guessing in the 1.5ish mpg loss. I should clarify, I don’t look at the mpg much, so I’m probably not the best source for mpg hit. As far as feeling the weight… Depends on the type of driving. Town: yes a little. Highway: not so much. At first I felt the weight difference, especially since the only thing lighter than the stock tires would be feathers…i know it doesn’t make sense, but I drove the truck like I stole it for a day after putting on the tires and the trans seems to have adjusted to the tires… probably just me getting used to it (didn’t disconnect battery so don’t know how it would have adjusted/learned. Truck has almost 5,000 miles). Either way, no going back for me. Really happy with the tires and range is still an acceptable trade for looks/off road performance.

I totally get it. I used to have a 2016 4Runner. Went from stock 39lbs tires to KO2s and it was like putting a lead brick in the car. I swapped them out the next day for some non LT AT tires that were closer to weight. The 4runner was anemic on power though unlike the f150. Eventually you get used to new tires and the perceived driving dynamics disappear over time.

I think they look awesome.. that is hardly a range hit for the great upgrade in looks. Thanks for the info!

not yet but i will get one soon. it is flush with the fender though. i love it.
Thanks! I’m still can’t decide between 285/65 or 290/60. I plan to get the air design fender flares so I’m ok with a little poke. Good to know they sit flush with the factory wheels.

This looks better to me. I’m not a fan of stuffing the biggest tire possible. This just gives it a sporty, aggressive look while maintaining the ability to use it for all your truck needs. I went up 1” taller on my current 2020 and will do the same with my 21. The 18’s look so good…
