Newspaper article said the 72 year old driver suffered a medical emergency. Speed undisclosed/undetermined but it takes some momentum to break off a telephone pole I’d say - driver transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries. Truck looks to have absorbed the impact very well. Just thought I’d share, makes me feel safe in my tank!

While I don't want to laugh at somebody else's obvious misfortune, it is kind of a novel use of the "F-150 versus..." section of the forum.

Yikes... that's bad. Glad to hear no one was hurt badly. RIP to that F150.

Wow, good catch…..I’d imagine the power company had to get those lines up in the air before a wrecker hooked up but you’d never know by the picture!
