F150 Orders Placed in Feb 2022

Can you place more than one order? I had a dealer tell me that a guy placed like 3 different f150 orders in hopes to get one produced quicker.

Yes you definitely can, I had 3 trucks on order due to different dealer promotions I liked and was seeing what would get scheduled. It’s really a craps shoot for allocations, I ordered a Maverick ecoboost too 9/27/21 that’s still not scheduled

Can it be at same dealer? Since it’s a crap shoot or would that not be smart? Asking cuz the dealer I placed order with didn’t make me pay a deposit. Not a dime to order.

Your dealer is only going to get whatever allotted allocations for the month so the order you already have with them should be picked up first anyway if it’s an identical order. Best to try another dealer if you’re concerned, higher volume dealers seem to get builds out quicker with more allocations.
Been looking at a lot of dealers around me, most will take orders without deposits now. If you back out they get an extra truck for the lot they otherwise wouldn’t get so win win.

Ordered w Granger and Ford Acknowledged same day, Feb 2. Only other correspondence has been a Ford email today basically saying nothing. It was titled ‘A change in your …. Order‘ but the body of the email, as pretty as it was, said the same thing you hear when calling about your internet service…. Effectively ‘we are experiencing higher then normal call volumes so your wait is looooooonnnngggg’.

5/18. Update. Changed order to add in scales a few weeks ago. Chip informed me I had moved all the way up to priority 17 before the change and said that my Priority should not revert nor should my place in Granger's queue. I recieved an updated order confirmation from Chip within 24 hours but nothing further from Ford ( save for the be patient emails ). I was aware Scales was not a constraint and this was verified last week when I spoke with Ford Chat and they confirmed my order as Clean. Essentially then, my wait has extended into triple digits with nary even a preview ( at least that I know of ).
