I thought that this was kind of an interesting video. This guy traded in his F-150 for one of the new Tundras, did some mods, then eventually traded it back in for an F-150.

Ben Hardy Video

As of last November I was convinced that I'd be getting a new hybrid Tundra, until I actually went into the dealer and had to request to talk to someone. Their attitude was poor and they wanted $5000 upcharge over MSRP. Started diving into the Ford products and realized that it was actually a stronger, more mature option. (If you can get one)

If you want confirmation bias this video will provide it. :)

I was considering the new Tundra's as well and really liked the refresh. There were a couple reasons I decided to order the F150 and go back to Ford again. One, I didn't like the idea of paying MSRP or MSRP + market adjustment, so I ordered through Granger Ford and like the idea of paying less than MSRP in this market. Two, the new Tundra's are still going through issues like all new models do so wanted something more refined.

Building..
I just can't get behind the new Tundra facelift. I prefer the prior generation, and think the design is rather off-putting.

Agreed. When I first saw the front grille, my first thought was it looked like a largemouth bass with it's mouth wide open.

IMO the Tundra looks like ass.
And I could not by a steel body truck at this point.
I do not flip vehicles often. No way i will risk having a rusted out truck.
Plus every Nissan that close people to me have owned was a pile of garbage.

No thank you. Wouldnt by a Tundra if it was 20k new.

Me neither, turbo issues...
Looked at a 2021, but if they just updated the interior, like the radio was 2014....I may have tried one.

While that may be true, the Tundra is a Toyota.

I drove a '22 Tundra before getting the '22 F150. In fact I had a deal and deposit on an inbound Lunar Rock SR5 O/R. But, then decided that since the 2015 F150 had been pretty decent for us we should at least look at a new F150 before proceeding with the Tundra. Sure glad I did because it wasn't even close. F150 had a ton of features we use that aren't offered on the Tundra.

Note: The Canadian Tundra doesn't have the option selections as in the US. Like on a SR5 you can't add tow mirrors, larger screen etc... SR5's come one way. Limited's come one way, Platimums come one way... no optional equipment. Kinda dumb. Basically just pick your color.

Wow. I read Titan. Lol. Mondays......

The Tundra is no better in looks. Both look like crap.

IMO of course
I agree. I'd throw the Silverado in with that same group, both have that super huge ugly ass grille, but I don't you're going to find many detractors on an F-150 forum.

Maybe? I have to say the newer Ram 1500's are a pretty good looking truck.

Might even say they look a smidge nicer than the '22 F150 sport I ended up with.
