The computer on mine is also less than 1 mpg off (2k miles in).

5.0 w/ 3.31 gears. Stock w/ bed cover.

Highway up to 70 avg: 24 (matches rating).
In town: more like 14-15 (below rating).

End of the day while I wish it did a little better in town I really can’t complain as I am basically getting the same MPG as I got with my little Escape (2011 V6) I upgraded from.

Highway yesterday up to 75 mph I got 24.8 (150 miles or so) pretty flat - NOT in ecomode, 'Top Tier' 87 fuel, temp was 55*, not on winter blend fuel yet

9,500 miles on the OD

Man, I LOVE it. I don't get it when people say "iF i CaReD aBoUt MpG blah blah blah..." In my 2014 Ram, 9500 miles would have been ~$3,300 in fuel cost. This truck, it's been about half that and that's only been 5 months of driving for me. The difference there, is almost 6.5 month's truck payments. Half of this truck's cost is going to be 'paid' for by the 'savings' in fuel!

Incredible savings.
I was burning 92 octane, for 2 tanks..
It made absolutely no difference in mileage or performance.
All I burn now is 87 octane.

I got the exact same mileage from 87 that I did from 92..

I'm going to be VERY curious to see what I can squeeze out of a Coyote in a Regular Cab Short Bed 4x4.

I see people getting 24-26 out of their 4-door Land Yachts and the RCSB is nearly 1000lbs lighter.

...I'll let you know. SOMEDAY!?

FORD is AWESOME!

First of all, I am very impressed and pleased with the mileage I’m getting with the new pickup.

I have never been concerned about fuel mileage in my pickups.
After many many years with big block trucks, 10-14 on flat roads and empty,
is a good day. Hooked up to drag crap around, instant 6-7 on the same roads. Full time 4x4 with a 350. 10mpg, uphill, downhill, flat, towing or not, engine off and falling from sky—10mpg and it just did not care.
I get around 15 in my 98 K1500 5.7/5spd.
my former v6/5spd ‘05 Ranger got 20 when new.

I'm coming out of a 09 Jeep Wrangler unlimited with 2" lift, 33's, metal bumpers and a winch. So I am happy from the moments on the highway and driving normal. I've only been on the highway for 50 miles or so I don't have real highway mileage yet. Also, on the regular city roads, who knows. I'm going from an underpowered minivan engine in a heavy Jeep Wrangler and I really, really, really, really like this 5.0!!! So the moral of the story is don't count your mileage on the first ever tank of gas!!! This thing will fly and get there quickly!!!

This weekend I did the same 300 mile trip that I did previously when my truck was stock. On the stock set up I got 20.9 mpgs and now on the new set up I was able to get 19.5 mpgs. Truck was in eco mode both times on 91 octane from Costco. Truck is a super crew 4x4 with 3.73 gears with tonneau cover. New setup is Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks and struts, muffler delete, and raptor take off 17 inch wheel and 35 inch tire combo. I also had the bed full of equipment and a passenger. Keep in mind that this is also just going off of the MPG calculator and I haven't adjusted it to the new wheel and tire combo which means I'm off a bit. I am beyond pleased with the mpgs I am able to get out of a full size 4x4 truck with 35s. The 5.0 coyote motor is awesome!

I have 5.0 super crew max tow package 3.73 gears

If I drive in eco mode on the freeway not exceeding 80mph keeping it around 74-78 then I can get 19 mpg.
I was reading about when and the best time to use eco mode, the bottom line is to use it in the city, low speeds and don’t use heavy acceleration. Normal mode is really used for long trips, higher/faster speeds.

I've now had this truck for 4 months.
The very best average mileage I've gotten is
16.0- Miles a gallon. I mean that's the best..
That's highway doing the speed limit
with cruise control set.
For the most part I average around
14.5 MPG combined city and highway.
Do I have a problem??
Trying to find out what others driving a V-8 are getting?
I did have an O/2 sensor go out at 800 miles,
So do I have another problem?
Appreciate any feed back I can get..
Thanks.....
I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and with about 700 miles of mostly highway driving at around 74 mph I’m at 19.5 mpg.
