Lifetime avg of about 19.5, maybe a bit more.
Display was reading a bit proud, but I got into engineering mode to make an adjustment to humble it just a bit.

YOUR GLOVE BOX LIGHT IS ON
Just over 900 hundred miles and the drive to wrk and around town she's getting 18.5mpg on average according to the dash. Hand calculated it's 15.5mpg. I only use a 1/4 of a tank a week.

I was shadowing a friend when he was towing a trailer with a backhoe - limited to about 45 MPH. I had just filled up and reset. 40-ish mile trip averaged 24.6 MPG. I was over 25 until the last 4 miles when we hit some hills.

Got down to 14 mpg so far.
I added an auto start stop eliminator.
Haven't broke it in all the way, so not running in sport mode regularly.
ECU encryption isn't cracked yet, cylinder deactivation may be happening in normal mode occasionally.
I keep 3 windows down and haven't tried the radio yet because the exhaust just keeps playing my favorite song over and over again.
I tried eco mode once while it was in park but can't actually run in it, because my stomach starts to turn.
I'll keep trying, but I think I can get it down below 10 mpg even without Sport mode yet.
I'll let you know how it goes.
LOL
OK, I am running Mobil 91 octane. I am running wide open too much.
I also have a 3:73
And I saw a thread n vid on Mustang, if we can get this thing in engineering test mode you can see total gallons burned so far I think. I'll look in Forscan too.
So divide that into total miles on odometer and maybe we can get better overall measurement of actual avg mpg.

I did a 100 mile drive today to an off-roading spot, drove off-road there for maybe an hour total and then another 100mile drive back. I reset the mpg calculator before leaving this morning and this is what I got when I got home. I occasionally put it on eco mode when possible just to squeeze the best that I can out of it to see what it’s capable of. This is a 4x4 super crew with 3.73 gears loaded with 4 people and some gear in the back. Not bad at all, super impressed!

It'll be interesting to see what kind of mileage I can squeeze out of a little, tiny reg cab short bed with 3:31 E-lock once the 5.0 is broken in.

I'm pretty encouraged to see what people are getting from the 5.0 4-door with 3:73s.

Mine was 18.7-20 average on regular 87 until I started running E85 recently to try it. Now it’s down to 16.4 towing a small trailer, rarely running unloaded. Cylinder deactivation helps a lot in these trucks until you have a malfunction like I did today.

I think Sam said in recent vid pulling the batt monitor cable off doesn't actually disable cylinder deactivation.
The only supposed way is to run in Sport mode. Until they crack the encryption.
I heard corvette guys haven't cracked new Vette yet either. Trying separate boards or something.
Need our Russian buddies to get on this ASAP. LOL
