We just caught the Ford F-150 Lobo completely undisguised, fully-revealing the new street truck—showroom-clean and badged in three colors!
All-New Face Brings Street-Style Aggression
The F-150 Lobo gets an all-new front-fascia. A new grille design, bisected by a new light bar design, spanning between the headlights’ LED strips with a set of four LEDs, making up a dash pattern. An all-new front bumper gets a sporty central air-intake design, with sporty mesh overtones. New fog light clusters flank the bumper intake, while aggressive flares frame the outer corners of the new face.
Lowered Body Kit
The lower body kit extends to the side sills, with tasteful ground-effects along the wheelbase. The lowered nature continues on the rear, as the ground-effects are attached to the outer edges of the F-150’s familiar rear bumper. Dual exhaust tips are on display, consistent with the F-150 Lariat’s Black Appearance Package. If there was ever any question that this is an F-150 Lobo, Ford removed all doubt with the Lobo designation stamped on the fender vent.
Aggressive Six-Spoke 22-inch Wheels
Meaty, 22-inch six-spoke Gloss Black wheels are all-new, and they’re wrapped in Bridgestone Alenza AS02 275/50R22 tires—a first for the F-150 lineup. Currently, the 22-inch wheels on the F-150 Platinum are wrapped in General Grabber HTS 60 tires. The prototypes showcase a set of new heat-extracting vents mounted on its hood. Whether this just a visual cue, or functional from a performance perspective, is unclear at this time.
The F-150 Lobo program has apparently accelerated toward a final phase of development, as multiple showroom-ready prototypes have now hit the streets of Dearborn for testing. It’s a certainty that the Lobo trim will join the 2026 F-150 lineup, to bring a new street-focused flavor to Ford’s full-size truck lineup.
