I don't like those wheels but I knew I'd be replacing them anyway so I'd be fine with it.
This guy ordered a 500a or 501a without the sport package, ended up getting the sport wheels. According to the poster his window sticker had the correct description for the regular machined 18s that come standard on lariats without appearances packages.
Has this happened to anyone else? OP seems fine with the sport wheels. I think I'd be ticked.
Wonder if they're run down the basket weaves; those are discontinued for '23.This guy ordered a 500a or 501a without the sport package, ended up getting the sport wheels. Did you remove the bedside stickers yourself?502A Sport. Added body color mirror caps and after this photo I pulled out the rear blocks to tone down the rake a bit.
Which ones are discontinued for 23?Wonder if they're run down the basket weaves; those are discontinued for '23.
Yes, on the last 5 or so trucks I've purchased, going at.least back to 2001. On a brand new truck I have just peeled them off in summer after some time in the sun. My 2022 was built 5 months before delivery so just to make it easier I warmed up one edge with a hair dryer and them just warmed the rest a bit as I peeled it off. It doesn't take a lot of heat or time. I'm talking maybe 2 minutes per side total.Did you remove the bedside stickers yourself?
These are gone.Which ones are discontinued for 23?
I'm really counting on getting the regular 18s, it was a contributing factor in selecting the lariat with no appearance package.
Thanks, Interesting.These are gone.
Thanks. I definitely want to pull my stickers off. I think it looks classier that wayYes, on the last 5 or so trucks I've purchased, going at.least back to 2001. Ford has been slapping those things on F150's for about 25 years...time to find a more creative way to dress up the rear area. I'll concede that it looks a little stark without stickers but I'll take stark over the look a sticker gives any day. I assume around 2025 the tailgate letters will be about 20" tall.Thanks. Yes, just last week. I got a Lariat Supercab with stock 501a wheels. Thanks, Interesting.
Anybody here recently take ownership to a fresh lariat (500a or 501a - no appearence package) that were supposed to have these but didn't? I wonder if ford is skimping out.
replaced steps with Rough Country HD2’s. Low profile and hug the cab really well, no gaps. Much better footing area. My previous Steps were Go Rhino dominator DSS and while they were great on my tundra, the fit on here just wasn’t right. Too narrow, and not long enough to fill out the cab. These are also hell of a lot easier to install. Before and after powder coat, ceramic and tint
