So this is my first 2.7L coming from my 2018 f150 3.5L 6in lift 37in tires. And I'm really wanting to keep stockish just Level with say (fox 2.0 or ford performance Bilstein) to remove rake and increase ride quality with upgraded shocks etc... I at least want to do 34in tires a more minimal aggressive nitto terra grappler g2 or toyo At2 ..with stock 20in wheels but I'm really enjoying my mileage compared to my last ....what could I expect to see on fuel difference..thanks.

34's over stock would make you lose no more than 3 mpg for sure. don't forget LT rated tires easily add weight to your truck.

I was on the verge of doing Nitto Ridge Grapplers LT in 295/60R20 or 285/60R20 on my leveled Ram but ended up going with an SL 305/55R20 which is basically equivalent to a 33X12.50R20. I think majority of half tons running 33’s with a leveling kit installed look proportional. 35’s on a leveling kit imo is too stuffed looking.

I lost 1-2 mpgs with my 3.5 EB going to a 34.3 LT with front level. Nitto Recons on stock 18s.

This gives one some idea on what is happening when going to a larger tire.

What has been experienced here with a 2.7 with stock tires with the 3.73 gearing and 2.7 payload package is the 2.7 EB returns very good fuel mileage when the turbos are not producing boost.

Over 70 / 75 mph the 2.7 EB is into the turbo's and fuel mileage takes a substantial hit.

If looks are your primary concern why worry about fuel economy?

Because? Lol I dnt think it's issue asking what others have got ... Hence why I said leveled and dam near similar tire size. But wanted others experiences ...

My last '20 3.5 had a 2.25" front level and 1" added block.
285/50r22 Toyo AT3.
Mileage was terrible.

If you are looking for decent mileage and remove some of the rake why not do a reverse level, pull the blocks, add your upgraded shocks and put on a nice stock size A/T tire. There are a couple A/T tires that don't give you the same aggressive tread but still look good and give you better fuel economy.

...or instead of going up, drop the truck.
