That's the plan. I was filing a claim for the time my AC wasn't working properly, but that was handled pretty quickly, so didn't end up following through. Sounds like it is needed this time. Mine also has a powertrain malfunction where they have ordered a starter and something else (forgot what it was), but both of those are on back order too with no release dates.Sorry to hear that. If you have not done it already, you should contact Ford customer service. No guarantee it will speed things up but they might compensate you in someway for your trouble. Also, they will hopefully be able to keep you informed on the backlog and timing.
