Dealer said they had a f250 ETA of Dec. 5 that came in two weeks ago.

Keeping fingers crossed on an earlier delivery date.

I now have a need for my dealer to attempt to expedite my order.
Some individual that cannot be described using language that is acceptable on a forum with a diverse crowd, turned left in front of me this morning at 5am BEFORE I had my first cup of coffee.
Towed home, change trucks and went for coffee again.
Working on my first cup now and down one pickup truck.
My favorite truck—I love this truck and that being said, the new one will not change my appreciation for this old workhorse—it must be repaired!
The other car—Chrysler 200—absolutely nothing left of that thing and it was a newer car—just bought, still had paper tags.
Grateful a couple of witnesses called in late to Toyota Manufacturing to give a statement to the authorities—-kudos to them

Well that really sucks! I'm chalking all bad things that happen this year to 2020, worst year in a century.

Thinking about something here
The sequential on the VINs
A-G------that's 700,000 vehicles
I just got my VIN and it is D38009
That comes to 400,000+ truck VINs in Sequential order
Granted---some of these are from a Different plant, but those also have their own identifiers.
So am I to guess that over 400,000 trucks have been scheduled before mine is getting built??
I do understand they are not actually built in order----as they used to be, but still, that is a pretty high number for someone that ordered in friggin' August.

My dealer informed me that when my build date changed to 12/14 from 11/30, there is an ETA on the truck of 12/21.

not sure that sounds real, seems like it may be after the first of the year..... but I hope they are right and I get it on 12/21

I had a delivery date of 12/21 ordered about the same time as you in July. Just got informed today that it won't get delivered now until late January. Ordered a king ranch. Dealer was told it's due to a parts delay
