Enyone else think the original wiper blades are a piece of crap?

Blades last a lot longer if you pull the blade away from the windshield and wash them with your wash mitt every time you wash the truck. Mine are almost 2 years old with 19000 miles and still good.

Thanks. I’ll have to investigate further.
Looks like the windshield installers installed the passenger wiper arm on the driver's side and that caused it to hit the A pillar. Switched them today and all is good.

mine smear bugs vice wiping them off, but most of my vehicles have done this. we have sticky bugs i think
i need a pair with razor edge to pull the critters off
Have you either rain x or ceramic treated your windshield? That's the first thing I'd do on any vehicle I've ever owned, it gets annoying driving cars that haven't been treated. , It might help

Mine still work flawlessly after 14 months of use. That could be as result of frequent washings and that I also cleaned the blades themselves a couple months ago.

That said, I am very happy with the wiper blades from Motorcraft and just ordered two new ones today to have them ready when needed.
