Engineering Mode?

Hey Guys,
I don’t see a thread regarding 2021 Engineering mode and wanted to see if we could get one stared. I don’t know the first thing about Ford engineering mode but I would like to learn about it. Anyone well versed on the topic and how to use it?

BTW - I tried this on my 2018 F150 EB and couldn't get into the mode.

When you restart your truck it will reset.

Definitely an interesting feature, the only thing of interest for me was the total fuel burn of the life of the truck.

I have these instructions printed out and keep in my console. The instructions I have says to hold the OK button and START the truck...not just turn it to accessory or on position. I have adjusted the LOM in my last two trucks this way. They both then read much more accurately...within .1 or .2 mpg per tank.

Has anyone been able to try this on the 2021 F150?

I got into mine last week to adjust the fuel mileage to a less optimistic reporting ( it lied by about 3/4 mpg)
Set it to read just a bit low.

Yep, Just got into mine. MPG off 1.2 to 1.4 MGP. I tried a few different things to get into it. First got into truck and waited until all screens went dark. Tried in accessory mode only. Didn't work. Then opened and closed door, logo showing on instrument cluster, held down the OK button for 5 seconds, then started the engine. Immediately went into Engineering Test Mode. Now just waiting to see how close the MPG is. On a positive note (with hand calculations) I am getting average 21.8 - 22.2 MPG over 375 miles per week consistently. Not bad for a V8.

Just did it like Cdberkman stated in his post.

Got in truck, let Ford logos disappear, held OK button for 5 seconds, applied foot brake and pushed engine start button.

Engine cranked and went into Engineering test mode.

I got into it on my 302A XLT and you can scroll through all the menus but if you scroll to the one where it turns on all the dummy lights, it’ll make your Ford pass app think the truck actually has faults
